MEMORY
The project addresses the programmatic requirements of a residential building with the aim of meeting and exceeding them through innovation in the design and construction techniques typical of this type of project. The project reinvents the repetitive approach typical of this kind of real estate development, creating a new language. This is one of the fundamental reasons why these homes, along with their scale, materiality, and spatiality, feel like a home: warm, inviting, and welcoming, defying any trend or era.
The facades respond directly to the needs and function of each space, as well as its connection to the surrounding environment and climate. Two main facades protect family life. One facade faces the golf course, projecting the interior while simultaneously absorbing the exterior. The other main facade reaffirms the personality of an exclusive lifestyle based on healthy habits and principles of balance between functionality and spatial quality.
The proposed architecture is simple, a bare architecture that reveals the spatial and structural solutions, resolved with cutting-edge materials and technological solutions. More than just a functional and conventional dwelling, the project seeks to create a space that fosters a unique ecosystem in everyday life. It aims to cultivate a lifestyle connected to nature, light, and air quality, perceived as "living in a house with spacious rooms and a rich sense of space," generating a more natural environment through its terraces and its connection to the golf course. In short, it seeks to create a habitat free from the chaos of the city. Its timeless aesthetic guarantees sustainability, transcending fleeting trends, and ensures a positive and powerful image throughout its lifespan. The design features prominent slab lines, complemented by linear planters interrupted by concrete ribs. These ribs, along with the surrounding vegetation, frame and create a rhythmic and seemingly random character on the facade. These ribs run vertically through the building, establishing a new visual presence in the landscape, completely devoid of any pre-established or artificial design. The project is resolved through four main elements: exposed concrete and wood, as noble materials, along with vegetation and light, as key components of the homes. In conclusion: a rational architecture, a direct response to their needs, without embellishment or forced solutions, acquiring a unique and exclusive personality.
